As least we think so. If this is born out as true (and it's not yet confirmed), I'll have to admit that I'm a bit shocked. The team is going to improve, perhaps significantly, in the off season. That second ring is well within reach. Retiring in the face of that? Either he has serious problems with the new GM, or his competitive fire has gone out in a big way.
